The producers of the Conway Twitty Musical and director Randy Johnson held auditions in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and Nasvhille for the brand new Conway Twitty musical, "The Man, The Music, The Legend....The Musical". They were looking for singers/actors to play Conway, Loretta Lynn, and Conway's two daughters, Joni and Kathy. Nashville was the final stop of a long, grueling audition process. The talent really came out in Music City and after two days of auditions and a several weeks of waiting, Amber got the call from the writer/director himself, Randy Johnson. He told her she had been chosen to portray the part of Kathy Twitty. Amber, of course, was beyond thrilled to be a part of such a special project and unique opportunity to combine her country vocals, as well as, her acting skill. She has grown to have such a respect for the legends and trailblazers in country music, that it just seemed fitting for her to get this part. After all, Conway Twitty is considered one of the best singers and most successful entertainers in the history of music! Amber said, "I am so excited and honored to be a part of this project! The Twitty family and all of us involved in this project want to bring Conway's music back for his fan's and I know he will gain a lot of new fans along the way".
